“SNOWBIRD CANTINA” SPICES UP THE TWILIGHT SHOW AND DINNER FRIDAY NIGHT AT
THE CHICO AIR
SHOW
(CHICO, Calif.) – Friday, September 24th
not only marks the opening of the Chico Air Show but also kicks off the
“Snowbird Cantina” Twilight Show and Dinner at 4 p.m. catered by La Cocina
Economica. This evening offers a
“pre-view” of the Air Show’s aerial performers, as they warm up with their
practice runs Friday night.
In order to make this a full evening, admission to the
Twilight Show and Dinner at the Flightline will include a great Mexican meal,
dancing, beverages and a front row view.
Kicking off the evening will be a catered dinner by La Cocina
Economica! For starters the Flightline
club will be provided with appetizing chips and salsa! Continuing the evening of savory food and
fun, the main course will include: a southwest salad, grilled asada, carnitas
and chicken tacos, vegetarian tamales accompanied with ranchero sauce along
with delicious rice and beans. For
dessert, Mexican chocolate cupcakes will be offered as a special treat after
dinner!
Not only will this “date like atmosphere” provide you with a
mouth watering dinner experience but Flightline goers will also be able to
enjoy dancing and live music from “a shameless rock ‘n roll band,” Hot Flash,
led by Holly Taylor.
Adding to the Twilight Show and Dinner, dancing and
beverages, will be a front row sneak peak of the air show performers practicing
aerial maneuvers and landings for the weekend!
Pre-sale tickets for the Twilight
Show and Dinner are available at $30 for adults and $15 for children ages 6-12.
For the air show enthusiast who only wants to watch the
performers practicing on Friday evening the Chico Air Show offers a discounted
price separate from the Flightline Club’s Twilight Dinner. The price for just admission to the general
Air Show grounds is $10 in advance and $15 at the gate for adults. While the prices for children ages 6-12 are
$5, and children 5 years old or younger admission is free. Local Chico
vendors will be present this evening in case the Flightline club is not what
you are looking for but still want a tasty snack!
