P51-mustang" Speed ball Alice" will be piloted by Dan Vance. Dan flies for
American Airlines and holds a low altitude aerobatic waiver in his Mustang, and
will perform his aerobatic routine in this classic WWII North American
fighter.Dan also races Speed Ball Alice at the Reno National Air Races.
The North American AT-6 Texan is the plane many WWII pilots trained in as an
advanced trainer prior to flying the P-51 mustang. This particular Texan rolled
out of the North American factory on December 8th 1941,the day after the
Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. The aircraft is owned by Rob Gordon and will be
flown by local pilot Phil Wallick.
Pilots for the duel controlled TF-51 MUSTANG "Lady Jo" are owner Daryl Bond and
pilot instructor Rob Gordon. Rob races Lady Jo at the Reno Air Races and is a
commercial pilot and flight instructor.
