The C-17 Globemaster III is the newest and the most flexible cargo aircraft to enter the airlift force. The Globemaster is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to bases in deployment areas.  The Globemaster can perform tactical airlift and airdrop missions while being able to transport ambulatory patients during medical evacuations.  Due to the demand of increased air mobility requirements of the U.S. Air Force, the Globemaster is capable of meeting today's demands for the military.
