U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt (Warthog) Demo Team Aerial Demonstration of the “Warthog’s” Exceptional Capabilities
The A-10 Thunderbolt may not be pretty to look at but it sure takes flying to new heights! This awesome aircraft can maneuver at low speeds and altitudes while being able to deliver weapons with precision to their targets. Being stealth like has its advantages because the Thunderbolt can operate in and out of locations near the front lines of battle. Having this plane in an arsenal is truly a benefits.
 The A-10 West Demonstration Team is a select group of professionals dedicated to showing the extreme capabilities of the A-10 aircraft through exceptional aerial maneuvers. Their mission is to demonstrate the capabilities of the A-10 Thunderbolt and the professional competence of the United States Air Force personnel, to positively affect U.S. Air Force recruiting and retention efforts, to promote community and international relations.
 The A-10 Thunderbolt is an American single-seat, twin engine, straight wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild- Republic in the early 1970's. The A-10 was designed for a U.S. Air Force requirement to provide close air support (CAS) for ground forces by attacking tanks, armored vehicles, and other ground targets with a limited air interdiction capability. It is the first U.S. Air Force aircraft designed exclusively for close air support.
