Our grass hay is a blend of Orchard, Rye and Bent.  This mixture provides exceptional nutritional value and is also easy to digest.  Each bale weighs about 80 pounds and is baled with two strings. We do not grow Alfalfa because the climate in Western Washington just won't allow it. We also do not grow Timothy because my horses won't eat it.  Timothy hay often yields heavy stems and dry tassels that are difficult to chew, and even tougher to digest.  If your horse is not an easy-keeper, you owe to them to feed our hay.
