Call His Name JESUS

There is no other name more able to make the heart of a Christian cheerful. All of the Scripture is written to point us to the One who became flesh- the Savior who was born in the City of David. Emmanuel, God with us. Christ the Lord. The Word became flesh- the most wonderful good news ever took on human form. The gospel isn't only the greatest story ever told- but He is the Person who is the Way to heaven. He is the sower of the word of God, and he is the Word. He is the grain of wheat that fell into the ground and died that he might bring forth much fruit. He is the Feast of Firstfruits, the Firstborn from the dead, the Beginning of the Creation of God. If we walk in the light as God is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the precious blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all unrighteousness. All of this goodness of the Lord reminds us of the city that has foundations, where the glory of God does lighten it- and the Lamb is the light thereof.
